The new Nissan Almera was launched yesterday at the 2012 Moscow auto show, designed specifically for the Russian market. The design team sought to combine contemporary Nissan design cues with more classic features on this 4,656mm-long five-seat sedan. The Almera has a long wheelbase of 2,700mm while the luggage area is said to be disguised by the sweep of the roofline and rear window that flows into the trunk lid.
The Hershey Auction in Pennsylvania is in full swing on Thursday, and our friends from Hagerty Insurance are there. The event is hosted by RM Auctions and includes some of the rarest auto antiques in the world. Ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show we get the first details and photos of the new Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet. Volkswagen has left it a bit late in the model life of the current Golf to deliver the VW Golf GTI Cabriolet, but better late than never. With 207bhp and 207lb/ft of torque the GTI Cabrio can whip to 62mph in 7.3 seconds and on to 147mph.
